It is essential to the project that both
data and information are available to all participants and
that they can be passed between the partners in a simple
and standardized form. In order to avoid confusion about
data exchange formats and to secure data quality, an TIDE
Data Center is formed.
The data center has the following tasks:
- act as central storage of data obtained in TIDE
- establish data report formats and provide an interface
that allow all participants to get data from the center
- keeping an up-to-date list of ongoing TIDE-actions
(sampling campaigns, experimental setups, meetings,etc)
- training of TIDE-partners in the use of a central
data base.
- report the complete data base in the form of a descriptive
report and floppy disk containing the data base by the
end of the project.
Specific information on the content and
structure of the data base is restricted to project partners.
They can find the latest version on the TIDE FTP-site.
Use the username and password you got by
mail.
The TIDE directory is situated at ftp://www.istitutoveneto.it/
