The Conference sessions will take place at Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti(IVSLA), the Venetian Academy of Sciences, Literature and Arts. The IVSLA stems from the Reale Istituto Nazionale, created by Napoleon for the Kingdom of Italy in 1810. The current name was given in 1838 by Ferdinand I, Emperor of Austria, when Venice was part of the Austrian Empire. In 1866, after Venice became part of the Kingdom of Italy, the IVSLA was recognized as one of the most prestigious Italian Academies. The Institute holds monthly academic meetings, and promotes national and international conferences, seminars, Summer and Winter Schools on Sciences, Humanities and Art. IVSLA's buildings, where the EVAN2024 will take place, are located in the heart of Venice, on the Grand Canal, near the Accademia Bridge.
