Venice Airport is the third airport in Italy by number of passengers and is wellconnected with all major European destinations. Several intercontinental services connect Venice to major cities worldwide, particularly in summer. The fastest connection (about 30 mins) between the airport and the city of Venice is the airport bus, run by the ACTV company half-hourly or hourly for most of the day. The bus stops in Piazzale Roma, the inland gateway to Venice. You can find information about the airport connection and options for a city pass here:

The nicest connection tothe city is through the water bus, Alilaguna, which runs through the Venice lagoon to the city center taking about 1 hour. Schedules and more information may be found here: https://www.alilaguna.it/en/timetables. Alilaguna is a separate company, and itsservice is not included in city passes.
