Venice Airport is the third airport in Italy by number of passengers and is wellconnected with all major European destinations. Several intercontinental services connect Venice to major cities worldwide, particularly in summer. The fastest connection (about 30 mins) between the airport and the city of Venice is the airport bus, run by the ACTV company half-hourly or hourly for most of the day. The nicest connection tothe city is through the water bus, Alilaguna, which runs through the Venice lagoon to the city center taking about 1 hour. is well connected to all Italian train stations and many European cities.
